On July 25, 2018, Trooper Tyler Edenhofer (

) was killed in the line of duty when he and another trooper were shot by a suspect during a physical altercation on I-10. Both troopers were rushed to the hospital, where Trooper Edenhofer died of his wounds.

On June 16, a motorcyclist fled from a traffic stop for criminal speeding & reckless driving near US 60 & Stapley Dr. Mesa PD's Falcon helicopter tracked the suspect as he continued recklessly on highways & city streets. ⬇️Watch the video to see how this incident unfolded.
