It was not a terrorist attack sir; it was a riot. 2000+ gunless baby boomers did not believe they could topple the federal government. Over 1000 charges were brought against them of which only 55 were for sedition - from which there has only been 5-7 convictions. Less than 1%

I am ABSOLUTELY minimizing it. Riots are often violent, that’s what makes them riots and not protests. Beatings and property damage are regular elements of riots - even murder. The rioters were let onto the grounds and into the Capitol building.

6 days ago I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. I had been in hospital since and am finally out and about. The medical bills are astounding and so we started a go fund me. Any help you have to give will build, out of gratitude, our road to whatever new life awaits.

No. It was a wildfire on an island. Rare and nasty. Wildfires wreak havoc on the mainland too but we have far more escape route and often ample time to leave the danger zone. On an island, both those benefits are almost non-existent resulting in much more severe damage.
