Being a "slow" writer doesn't make you a failure. Slow is subjective and writing isn't a race but a journey. We all lead different lives which undoubtedly affects the amount of time we can put towards writing. Comparing your progress is pointless.

It deeply saddens me that there are people with brown eyes who hate the color. Brown eyes can be almost as dark as a night sky dotted with starlight, the color of a warm, aromatic cup of coffee, or the shade of fallen leaves on an autumn day, and so on. Brown eyes are beautiful.

I'm happy to say I wrote 12k words this month. This might seem small to most, but considering I didn't expect to reach 10k and came close to giving up on this novel, I'm counting this as a win.

Publishing at a "young" age doesn't make you a superior writer.
Publishing at an "old" age doesn't make you less than as a writer.
Publishing at all is a feat that should be praised regardless of the person's age. Not everyone is brave enough to put their work out there.
