Marcelo Bielsa rekindled a passion for football in me when I was I’ll be honest, done. I’ve never loved and respected a manager of this club as much. Just let it end with the sort of dignity, professionalism and integrity which have always been his guiding principles.

When Cellino was in charge, dividing the playing and coaching staff for his personal amusement because he was an utter cunt, Bamba stood up and protected them as best he could. That story won't be in the papers tomorrow, but it's why he should always have our respect.

Man In The Middle
Officiating our game at Anfield is Jurgen Klopp. The German has already taken charge of Leeds once this season, when his assistant Craig Pawson dismissed Pascal Struijk. Away from football Jurgen likes orthodontistry, currywurst and socialism.
#lufc
You don't prove your loyalty to Leeds United by turning up. You prove it by staying away and not risking the wellbeing of the club's players and staff.
#lufc
Some modern footballers are hard to love.
@dallas_stuart
isn't one of them. I doubt there's a Leeds fan on the planet who isn't wishing you a full recovery. It'll be wonderful to see you on the pitch again next season.
I mean, Bielsa's tribute is not a bucket, is it. Because if it was it would be the most classless, cheap, patronising, shallow gesture the club could possibly have made.
#lufc
I love it when people mention unprecedented acts of terrible officiating in football. Takes me back to when Leeds were robbed of not 3 points, not one but two European trophies by *actual* corrupt officials in the space of three years. And nobody in authority gave a fuck.
#lufc
I couldn't give a shit who "owns" this place. It's ours. Without us it's just concrete, plastic and some grass. We're not a "brand", we're not an "asset" and we can't be bought and sold by anybody. If you think any different you're very, very mistaken.
#lufc
Elland Road can be quiet. Elland Road can be toxic. But the difference is when it really has to, 9 times out of 10 it steps up. It does it without clappers, goal music, singing sections, Tifo or lightshows.
If your place doesn't, that's on you.
#lufc
Just about to email the police about the Bournemouth game.
There's no way I'm comfortable with five hundred of their lot turning up at Elland Road on a Saturday at 3pm.
Yeah I'm pleased for Bielsa and the players. But don't think WE didn't play our part in this, paying our money to wankers like Bates, supporting players who weren't good enough, seeing our best kids sold off. WE kept the club going in those days. This is for US too.
#lufc
Given the situation we're not quite out of yet, rather than be for or against Marsch, or Bielsa, maybe best to be just pro-Leeds until this season's done.
#lufc
Not sure there's been a worse sustained spell of recruitment that Victor Orta's last 12 months at Leeds. Wrong players, wrong fees, wrong contracts. Utterly abysmal decision making.
Had some really weird follows so: I'm a boring middle aged centrist dad from Leeds who talks almost exclusively about Leeds United and music. I'm not fucking stupid enough to believe in the new world order, contrails, anti vaxx bullshit, or racism. So please, fuck off.
Pitch to the Premier League's bottom six on how we can finish the season:
1. Play the remaining games
2. See which three clubs have the least points
3. They get relegated
I doubt if any other manager fundamentally changed the DNA of a club so quickly and so much in recent history than Bielsa. If you're not Leeds, you won't ever get it.
I could’ve pretty much taken this photo from where I was stood in 1987. Before you think about chanting, remember it could’ve just as easily been your dad, uncle or older brother. Only luck stopped it being a tragedy when we played.
#lufc
When they talk about tough jobs in football, spending your first game listening to the away end chant your sacked predecessor's name for 90 minutes is probably up there.
People having a go at Bamford. People having a go at the people having a go at Bamford. Tedious.
He starts on Wednesday and we're 90 minutes from Wembley. If Roofe was fit I'd want him to play, but he isn't.
Please wind your necks in, just for once.
Just to help: if Leeds get fined for coins being lobbed onto the pitch, it’s less money for them to get players in to stop the players who score against us that get you all angry and stuff and then make you throw coins on the pitch.
There, not so hard, is it?
Find this criticism of Meslier - the best keeper we’ve had since Martyn - very odd. He’s got enough credit in the bank for me over the last two years to alllow for the odd error. I suppose this is a social media thing.
The Huddersfield volley was ace, but Ayling's definitive contribution was this, courtesy of a last gasp, lung bursting run and assist for Pablo to create what was the most important Leeds goal of recent years. I'm sure he'll remember it forever. I will.
Never gets enough credit in that title season for me - second highest scorer after Chapman, winners against Everton & Norwich, his pace gave many defences problems.
Seriously, if you can't just take the joy from that and have to hot take instead on why a 93rd minute winner shouldn't have been necessary, substitutions, and/or how we'll lose some other fixture coming up to preserve your Twitter brand, may I recommend another club/sport.

Marcelo Bielsa angry against Conmebol: They are a plague of liars!!! 🤬😡
I will always be on the Marcelo Bielsa side of the world 💪💪💪
Follow me for more football videos with English Subtitles!!
Absolutely pissed.
The lows are so fucking low.
The highs are so few when they come they're like Mount Fucking Everest.
What a fucked-up, incredible ride. We'll never get off.
Rest assured, if Leeds had been owned now or in the past by somebody who'd even once borrowed a Skoda, we'd have been put out of business last week.

Try to stop and think next time before you run your finger across your throat, wave a Turkish flag or sing about knives that these lads were real people, brothers, uncles and dads, on their way to a football match just, like you.

"We confirm the Leeds v Arsenal fixture will go ahead, because there's a chance those Yorkshire oiks may get stuffed. Should Arsenal be unable to field a team, they will be awarded a 90th minute penalty, which Anthony Taylor will Panenka into an empty net".
Your views, my views, anyone's views about taking a knee are irrelevant on Sunday. If you disrupt it knowing the consequences for Leeds United then you're simply acting for you and it's obvious you don't care about the club. You can keep quiet for five seconds.

To be clear, there was never an “Anti-American” bias. There was an anti-shit football bias, and even that would’ve probably been ok if it got results. But it didn’t.

Brown person trashes police van in Leeds: the stain of multiculturalism which must be erased, by force if necessary
White person trashes police van in Southport: Patriotism
Still the last great unreconstructed football club in England. Don’t try to change us - you won’t. Don’t try to understand it - you can’t. Just watch and wonder.

I'm with
@EastStandUpper
- Leeds & Derby isn't a thing. Never has been. They're just another club inventing a rivalry to cover their own multiple failures, like Boro, Hull, Wednesday et al. After tomorrow there's no need to even speak about them again.
Any season, any manager in the last decade we fold at 2-1 and go on to get hammered. First real questions of the season answered positively for me.
#lufc
It seems we are ANGRY about the sale of a player who's never kicked a first team ball and is unlikely to get a game because we've just signed Helder Costa.
Have a night off lads.
I’m going to say this again and you might not like it but it happens to be true: a progressive club looks to strengthen their squad in *every* transfer window.

Just listened to
@GuillemBalague
's programme on Bielsa and got a bit emotional; I've been watching Leeds for 36 years but I realised that I want us to win promotion as much for him - maybe more - than the club, the city or myself. A wonderful, unique person, We're honoured
