On This Day in 1973 we beat Partick Thistle 2-1 in a Division One game at Gayfield, with Tam Cargill scoring a double Tam scored 23 goals in his 529 appearances for the club, so two in the one game was a surprise! Tam's 529 apps see him sit 2nd in our all time appearance holders
