@PaulKirkby3 I don't think Government should use the word guidance. This makes way for people to ignore it, as is happening with guidance for schools/NHS. Government is not an advisory body, it is there to govern.

@Iromg Mike the problem is is is that people have had it too good for too long and have become used to spending a lot and accrued credit. I am on disability benefits and have cut right down on non-essential spending and I'm fine.

Reported a trans activist yesterday to X for calling me 'cis'. It was rejected at first but I countered the decision by reminding them Elon Musk had promised to take action against anyone using the 'cis' word as a slur. I won and they have been sanctioned. Let's stop this rot.

@sharrond62 I started in the BBC in the 70's and my boss gave me a list of all the producers/directors to stay clear of. I became good friends with most of them and never had a problem. Of course, there was a lot of promiscuity around but that's what it was like then.
