I appreciate @StoryProtocol and @jasonjzhao's efforts to eliminate Sybils. However, I question whether the rewards saved from Sybils are included in the initial 5% allocation. Will these tokens be redistributed to real users on Day 1—effectively increasing their allocation—or withheld for future campaigns, thereby diluting the initial 5% incentive pool?
We are implementing strong anti-sybil measures — including Passport scores — on Day 1 to distribute greater rewards to the community via future Initial Incentive campaigns. All allocation saved from Story’s anti-sybil efforts will b redistributed to real users in future Initial Incentives programs, ensuring that farmers do not take away rewards from long-term aligned participants in the Story network.

How will Story Protocol address Sybil farming? •Use datasets from other projects like LayerZero that have already labeled Sybils. •Collaborate with analytics platforms like Nansen to identify suspicious patterns. •Use Proof of Humanity (PoH) solutions, like Gitcoin Passport, to ensure unique participation. The fairest approach could be a combination of data-driven detection and collaboration with other projects to ensure only legitimate participants are rewarded. ꧁IP꧂
