Weird how this fandom is so dead-set on portraying Poison Ivy as some environmentalist queen, yet when it comes to Ra's al Ghul it's always "terrorist this" and "terrorist that"
The fact that a rich white billionaire is at odds with a environmentalist who literally just wants to save the world should tell you everything you need to know about Batman as a character
I can’t believe after 80 years, we finally got to see Bruce give a platonic kiss to one of his children and it’s ironically the “black-sheep of the family" and the "rebellious bad boy" Jason Todd
Black Adam spent so much time trying to figure out what was the new word that Billy replaced "SHAZAM!" with in order to ensure that he will no longer be able to transform again, so imagine his shock when one day he ordered a "chocolate egg creams" and accidentally transformed.
// WFA spoilers
I can't believe we got the first Cassandra & Damian team-up in over 13 years and its an angst story involving brain-washing and comforting.
You can make fun of this webtoon as much as you want, but they're giving us things that the main comics should be giving.
DC comics looking in the mirror like: "nice female character you got there.....would be a shame if someone were to deage them and make them hook up with a much younger Batboy"
I really appreciate how when Dick revealed that he faked his death to his family, Jason and Tim went straight to beating him up while Damian, who you would ASSUME would have reacted the most violently out of all them, just ran to hug Dick and tell him that he missed him.
WFA SPOILERS!!

WFA had an ep about Damian introducing Wonder Woman to all of his pets, including the long awaited return of the bestest boy in the DCU, Goliath and no one told me??? Ya'll are fake.
The difference between how Gleb colors his Damian in his own personal drawings vs how the colorist of the Robin's book colors his Damian is sad, we really could have had Damian looking like this the whole time?
If only he was wearing a bikini made of vines and leaves, maybe then people would have given him his flowers (no pun intended) as an environmentalist, but alas he's not a white woman
They're gonna modify the WFA webtoon and release them in a normal comic-format?
I guess that would be nice, I just hope they're not gonna change up the characters designs too much since they're a big reason to why WFA is so liked.
I swear I have seen more people mad about DC making Stephanie's ex-boyfriend bisexual than they were about DC completely erasing her character from existence at one point, are ya'll sure you really care about her?
How nice of you to finally include Damian in these stuff, would be nice if he wasn't whitewashed 90% of the time with almost zero reference to his heritage or culture though.
From Monkey Prince to Cassandra Cain and beyond, the DC Universe is packed with incredible AAPI characters. Join the celebration by sharing your cosplay and fan art with us in May's

Heritage Month DC Community Fanworks Thread:
I don't know how Wally broke off DC's curse of being constantly treated like he's 17-22, but I need him to share his secrets with the rest of the characters from his generation...
this is why Damian being whitewashed seriously needs to be stopped, we have racists thinking he's white and using him to attack other characters of color? Ridiculous
"I have been practicing my Gotham accent"
I'm taking this as a proof that Damian canonly speaks with an Arabic accent and I don't care what anyone else says.

Talia Al Ghul will appear in season 4 as well
Grodd, Metallo and Man-Bat are consider the old guard of the legion of doom
King Shark will be the Legion’s IT guy
Alfred has no purpose now that Bruce has gone to jail so he finds new
Damian Wayne is perhaps the most "youngest-sibling" character to ever exist in comics, because one time he threw away the 4 cookies he was eating at once just so he can fight all of his older siblings over the last cookie.
-Make Raven a member of Justice League Dark
-Give Starfire a galactic-focused solo book
-Let Wally stay in The Flash book & include him in the JL
-Bench Beast Boy for a decade
-Remove all Batfamily or Titans characters from Nightwing solo and actually give him some lore
Gotham Knights demonizing Talia sucks so much, because this might possibly be my favorite look she has ever had and its sadly wasted on a story witch such bad characterization of her....
Love how the first thing Talia did after moving in to the manor is set a sofa in Batcave to lay on it suggestively each time Batman comes back from a mission
Gunn is really about to go find the whitest boy in the world, shower him with hair gel, then have him act as the most arrogant stuck-up obnoxious disrespectful brat imaginable which in turn will influence the comics to reset his character to that again for the 57th time in a row.
Oh lord, they're gonna make a forced ass trio with her, Damian and Jon that has absolutely ZERO genuine chemistry between them for no other reason than "they're the children of DC's Trinity" aren't they?
The upcoming Wonder Woman
#800
aims to make waves by introducing the world to Trinity, the daughter of Wonder Woman. IGN has an exclusive first look at the character and full details from her creators.
Why is it that female heroes get these masks that don’t cover their eyes and male ones do??? Like Steph had it too with Batgirl and then she doesn’t even have anything in her newest look
Starfire 🫱🏿🫲🏽 Talia
Having your status as Bruce's/Dick's first real love erased and getting constantly disrespected in favor of a more mainstream Gotham-based character.
I'm flabbergasted by how good "One Bad Day: Ra's al Ghul" was, especially considering who was the writer
It captured the character of Ra's and his ideology so well, I honestly might recommend people who want to learn more about his character to start with this comic
Being a DC writer must be such an easy job because you can write the most mediocre & incoherent story with inconsistent characterization ever, but as long as you end the story with a hug between 2 members of the Batfam then dctwt will treat it as the greatest piece of literature.
I used to think the scene with Damian and Connor making fun of their dads' fetishes was super cringey when it first came out, but you know what, revisiting it in the context of these two being Ace? I kinda like it now.
Stephanie Brown was literally never adopted by Bruce, she was never even an orphan at any point.
She's just his son's ex-girlfriend/a close friend to the family and most importantly she already has a loving mother who raised Steph all on her own?
Inspired by the new BATMAN: THE DOOM THAT CAME TO GOTHAM animated film, we're taking a look at 7 orphans Batman has adopted: (Can you name them all before clicking the link?)
Aside from that Shadow War crossover, Batman
#136
marks the first time that Damian, the current Robin, appears in the Batman book since the CoB arc in 2019.
I never really cared about this black & white suit that Damian wore in his first appearance, but since DC has officially made this white suit Talia's signature outfit, I'm actually starting to like the idea of Damian rocking a black & white suit to symbolize both of his parents?
Nightwing hugging Batman and saying "I love you dad" was really cute and overdue, but honestly I'm at a point in my life where writers throwing in a cute/fun scene that can be shared without-context to hide the fact that their story is mediocre doesn't impress me anymore.
I feel like if there was a category that says "their first costume is already perfect, do NOT change anything!" then these characters need to be at the top of the list.
"Dick got eldest daughter syndrome™ <3"
Dick driving back to Blüdhaven after his first and only half-assed attempt to calm things down between his family fails:
Kinda ironic, because the happiest we have seen Damian be in the last 6 years of comics is when he was temporary living with his mother just before Shadow War:
Ramadan Mubarak to all Muslims celebrating around the world🌙
Don’t mind Damian Wayne, he’s just salty that he has a normal lantern while Simon Baz (Green Lantern) & Khalid Khalid Nassour (Doctor Fate) have big magical lanterns made from their powers

I know that it probably had something to do with the fact that 80's Batman simply wasn't as edgy/angtsy compared to now, but seeing interactions between kid Jason and Bruce just hurts my heart, Bruce really was peak dad and he had the best relationship with Jason our of everyone.
Having trouble finding out the ages of female DC characters? Here's a few easy steps to figure it out:
Step 1: ask DC what is the age of a specific female character
Step 2: add 5 years to that age, voila! Now you have her real age
Kinda depressing that Damian as been around for 17 years and doesn't have a stable group of friends like Dick's Titans or Tim's YJ and instead has DC throwing random deaged adults & newly-created characters at him in hopes of them becoming popular by being associated with him.
Also if he really was a mass murderer.........then why did you allow him to eat breakfast at your house literally just one issue ago?
Personally I'm on team "Jason SHOULD be a killer and not a part of the Batfam," but you can't just go back and forth between those things.
