Tam Courts is the first United manager to take points off both Rangers and Celtic in his first games against them since Craig Levein in 2006 (2-1 v Rangers at Tannadice and a 2-2 draw at Parkhead).

With his hat-trick today,
@Shankland_25
(24 goals) has surpassed Jon Daly and Kjell Olofsson's best tallies of 22 and 23 goals in one season, the most since Iain Ferguson with 28 in 1986-87. Will he surpass Ferguson's total?
We are extrememly saddened to hear of the passing of Scottish Football legend Walter Smith.
As assistant to manager Jim McLean, he will forever be remembered at Tannadice for playing a massive role in the most successful years of Dundee United's history.

Not many “player connections” between
