I hate IDW Sonic's constant use of 'meme faces'. Once or twice is fine enough - when you have a silly story in place of a serious one - but there's BEEN no 'silly' story for a long while. It comes across as nobody taking things seriously when I'm seeing faces like these:

Like, if the comic WANTS to do memes, make a silly story that doesn't have the need to wring out emotions out of people. This CONSTANT need to add memes where it isn't necessary takes ME out of any story avaliable, and I'm blaming all the artists for it.

Tails didn't automatically poof out of existence when the scene of Chaos 0 wrapped up in Forces. Once he got hope back, he went on to help conquer the odds with the Resistance and help moviate the Avatar into destroying the illusionary sun.

There's a part of me that's just... so sick and tired to IDW Sonic - both of the comic *and* it's stans. I would *love* to not talk about it anymore - in fact, I think I would like to talk about it *never* - but the thing is, it has a *death grip* on the Sonic community.

This argument is flawed from the start because it assumes Flynn meant this Sonic to be separate from the games, when Flynn has stated on his Bumblekast that this Sonic is 'the SEGA standard', even though that's not the case.

If you force alt media that CONTRADICTS the games at every opportunity to be canon, you'll end up losing people! Especially since the comic isn't surviving at all!
I genuinely hope IDW doesn’t just stay as references and just “canon” for sake of “yea it’s canon”.
Use stories from IDW in games, have those characters appear & keep the writing consistent PLZ

Tails had not been shown to fight any of Eggman's mechs or Chaos 4 on his own. Even with Gamma, there's three other distinct playthroughs that showcase no, Tails did NOT fight Gamma on his own either.
The only one in Adventure he was shown to fight on his own was Egg Walker.

IIRC, one Twitter Takeover proclaimed Sonic didn't like Strawberry Shortcake, when in Unleashed he gets a good EXP boost from it. He likes strawberry shortcakes.

Gotten help from one of his own tech.
Had Sonic and/or Knuckles fight with him along the way.
Done a thing on his own that amounted to nothing.
Cower at the Dark Gaia entities in Unleashed before Sonic arrived.

IDW Sonic isn't a serialized manga that *has* to continue without an end goal in sight. There's always only *one* story in it, and it's mostly either bleh, or something that came out of *bad fanfiction*. There's literally *no* in between to it.

I like Pontaff because their Eggman is one of the best - he had deliberately used Sonic to propel him forward with the Zeti, had control of the Time Eater, and also nearly managed to have the world in his hands.
Their writing of Sonic and Tails' relationship was awesome, too.

Stans of Sally Acorn's mostly naked design think that it's okay to have a busty woman run around in a skintight suit and have a cartoon animal head instead of a proper Sonic design that fits the series.
Because that's all Sally is to them - an 'sex appeal character'.

The difference between Shadow and these OCs is that Shadow was written to fit into the Sonic Universe. These guys are written to REPLACE characters or DEMEAN certain characters.
Also, their designs are so badly thought out, it's hilarious.

Sonic Prime and IDW Sonic need to stop pretending that they're 'part of the games' when they're REALLY not. By that extension, the writers of both Prime and IDW need to stop enforcing their beliefs onto the franchise that long since moved on from their mindsets.

When done well (Soma, Judai/Jaden Yuki), it's a neat aspect to an already great character. The problem comes with how EASY it is to eff up fully.
Sonic doesn't really have much of an 'evil' form, more a 'pissed off' form, while Satoshi/Ash just got possessed.
What's your opinion on the trope of characters with a "dark" form?

Wanted to do a redesign of Surge the Tenrec, mainly because I wanted to lean further into the punk aspect and get rid of the clutter. One prominent thing I wanted to get rid of was the baggy pants - they did nothing for her, and I wanted the sharp edges.

2) The knights had faces similar to the people Sonic knows of - Lancelot for Shadow, Gawain for Knuckles, and Percival for Blaze. Him 'disarming' them is actually him trying to *stop* them from commiting seppeku.

I've been saying for a long ass time that IDW Sonic was a horrible representation of Sonic, and no amount of 'this is for kids!' is going to change that.

An interesting character that COULD have worked, had the narrative of him being a 'sad and loney boy' not been contradicted by evidence of his parents loving him, and his human friends literally sticking by his side and his uncle, grandfather, and staff love him.

Tails also 'stalks' Sonic. In fact, technically everyone in the Sonic universe has to 'stalk' Sonic to meet him.
He's literally supersonic in his running, guys. He literally can go anywhere by just running to it.

Amy is stalking Sonic and has physically assaulted him when he rejects her advances. He always pulls away from her hugs/kisses. If you liked someone would you pull away? Sonamy is a toxic ship
