Here's the process gif for anyone interested. I work with the polygonal lasso tool and hard round brush mostly, with some hue jitter later on. :) My fave layer modes are lighten, exclusion, and linear dodge to get fun colours! I just paste my whole painting in and move it about.

Just finished this. Blocked out and lit in UE4 so I can get a feel for the space as a player in game first. Means the scene works both in 3d space and as a 2D image off the bat which can save time later when modelling the concept! #gameart #conceptart #indiedev #digitalpainting
