@davidtranwd @nextjs Look into using @remix_run if you want something similar but actually efficient Remix is just a fancy route handler for express which runs under the hood You’ll find the memory usage is pretty small compared to next and it runs very fast!

@drummatick Using JWTs is over-engineering when using it for authentication. What you’re basically doing is making sessions but a more complicated mess just to have “stateless” authentication

@theo I’m surprised database tracked sessions with secure HTTP only cookies wasn’t mentioned For most projects, this is all you need as with access/refresh token in a cookie, you’re basically replicating sessions but making your life harder
