The last few days have felt like such a blur! After a really long trip over (normally only 6 hours, but 17 hours this time of year!) we're in! This photo sums it all up.. when we got into our flat early hours of this morning 😴

I keep looking over at this house across the bay and think it looks so safe, all tucked away in the trees. It's on a little island and stands all by itself (as far as I can see!) and I wonder who's there and if they are looking back at us!

It has been 5 years since we got married, and 9 since we first met - what an adventure we've had!
Time has flown by, but this only feels like yesterday. We were so stressed to the run up to this day and it turned out so perfectly and we couldn't have asked for a better day.

-Maybe have some treats to hand so I can have their full attention!

Sure it's means I'm a little sunburnt and bug bitten, but nothing beats the few hours before subset, when it's cooling off and everything looks magical ✨️

I can't belive this was almost a year ago! It was my goal in 2022 to see puffins, and we were so lucky to take a boat out to Lunga Island in Scotland. They were so curious and sweet creatures!

We'd walked up a little side path in the park and had met so many friendly dogs of all shapes and sizes. I then said to Alex 'perhaps I should take photos of peoples dogs?' and then Dogs of Halifax was born! 🐕🐶🐩

Moving to Canada, I really wanted to learn more about Indigenous culture, even the harder stuff. This is just a start, but boy, how powerful!

Aww it's this time of year when we'd normally make our way down to Cornwall in the UK. I was so lucky to have my Dad living down there, so went a couple of times a year!
If you ever get the chance, go. You will not regret it!

What is your favourite book and why? I'm a super slow reader, but we love to stop at the end of the day and read for at least half an hour before bed... well, I try! Alex normally has to take the book away from me and turn off the light because I've fallen asleep!

Social Media is hard work. I love to share my work with you, but what and when? Then I get a lovely comment, and it make's it sweeter. I don't have to be here all the time, just a bit to connect with you lovely people, and then we can go back to enjoying this planet we live on!
