Women who have had high blood pressure during pregnancy (HDP), such as preeclampsia, may be at increased risk for dementia. New data out of #AAIC22: HDP was associated with white matter pathology, a predictor of accelerated cognitive decline, 15 years after pregnancy.

Studies show a new potential hazard for #Alzheimer's risk: air pollution! Living long term in a polluted area increased Alzheimer's risk by 21% in those with high cognitive reserve. But in those with lower reserve, the association jumped up to 113% 😳 #ENDALZ
