Really important clarification - NI is being treated differently to the rest of the UK on this. GB will levy tariffs on EU imports. NI won’t. Understand govt believes this possible because of NI special moral case in international law.

Important context on Ford closure: the plant is 15 minutes from Port Talbot steelworks. The entire area's manufacturing is - to quote one source - "being decimated". Ford's pay is some of the best in South Wales. These are high value jobs being lost.
