Every morning at this time I hear the call to prayer from the mosque. It is such a wonderful privilege I had not realised we had. A Muslim guest of ours from a different continent visited Kenya and was so happy that he heard it because in some countries, you don't.

Why have all the trees on one side of a slope that leads up the hill to Karura Forest on Limuru road been cut down? What are they clearing the forest for?

A tree fell on matatu on Limuru road hence all the traffic, the matatu has been cleared and there are cops and ambulances on the scene.
