@adairfraser_ If there isn’t already a minimum in place, it’s yet another reason the governing bodies aren’t fit to run the game. Clubs would rather spend on the team than the pitch and I get it but that product last night has zero value to sell thanks to a pitch impossible to pass about on

Hearts changed 7 of their 10 outfield players, all after half time. This made up narrative that all the players are knackered is bollocks. The pitch played a bigger part in the quality than anything else. Sort that out rather than blame 30 minutes of football.
One final random take from the game last night. Should we just go straight to penalties at the end of drawn cup ties? More often than not extra time is just a complete washout. Two sets of utterly knackered players, both too fucked and too scared to gamble for a winner so it just ends up being 30 minutes of utter crap. I know there's exceptions where ET can create great drama but they seem very few and far between to me? Plus, it was absolutely fucking baltic last night, nobody in that crowd needed another 30 minutes!
