@McFaul Putin wants to resurrect the USSR, and Ukraine was a big part of that, so he doesn't want UA to join NATO, because he wants Russia to own UA-not b/c he's afraid of NATO aggression. He's a beast, but he's intelligent, and now he knows invading UA was a bad idea.

@McFaul Only Z and Putin can make peace. Right now Trump is trying to start the talks. Don't you want peace? Eventually Z and P will talk and come up with a mutually unpleasant deal. Land trades will happen, like every other war. The peace assurance is that RU knows they made a mistake.

@SawyerMerritt Do they not understand the difference between the US paying for a product that's useful and throwing money at things, like trans promotion in EU? The US gov't needs to buy vehicles, why not buy the ones made in America, where the people that made it are taxed to offset the cost?

@McFaul Ask yourself if posting things like this helps or hurts the peace process. Are you doing this to harm Trump, at the expense of peace and helping the US? How does a patriot become a traitor...is it ok b/c it's Trump? Z and P will come up with a deal, not Trump, who wants peace.

@Heroiam_Slava Only Z and Putin can really make a deal. Trump is trying to start the conversation, that's all. It's traitorous for people from the US to go to Europe to disrupt the peace process b/c they don't like Trump. Recognize their motivation has nothing to do with EU or Ukraine.

@McFaul You guys all need to relax a little bit. Nothing is signed. This is the very start of negotiations, nothing more. Puting and Z need to come to the table and find a resolution that's acceptable to both. That can't happen if Putin and Z are unwilling to go to the table.
