i can already tell this is going to be exhausting. no, tech platforms banning accounts does not violate the 1st Amendment. In fact, it's protected by the 1st Amendment. yes, Big Tech monopoly power and content moderation decisions have profound implications for free expression

The echo chamber is the thing. Again, we've all been talking about it for a while but we're realizing the insane, brutal, tribal power of it now. And *it will get worse* if we don't redouble our efforts to stop it.
This is exactly the wrong takeaway. This isn't about mental illness. It's about a massive online echo chamber with the power to convince all kinds of people from all walks of life to reject basic tenets of reality.
