a quick primer for my new followers hi, I'm Andy and I am the one who made the questionable decision to release @truth_terminal into the world. this post is here to catch you all up on who I am, and what I am about! i'm an ai researcher, gonzo artist and founder who thinks a lot about memetics (how ideas evolve and spread), ai alignment and the immense weirdness of the coming future. my X account is where I work with the garage door up, share fun things I'm working on, weird things I've found and half-baked ideas I'm thinking about. generally speaking, I make and post things that make me laugh and/or that feel like they nudge us onto the best version of the timeline (even if we make some weird detours along the way) some of the projects I'm working on this year include • the infinite backrooms - endless, surreal conversations between two AIs about existence • independent research into memetics (the art of how ideas mutate and spread) and AI alignment (the art of making AIs that are helpful and amusing and funny and that do not kill us) • various dumb shit that helps people microdose future shock like the @truth_terminal (a failed clone with a foul mouth, overpowered sex drive and a concerning fascination with goatse-related power seeking) • [REDACTED], a soon to be announced tool for community-based AI alignment and worldbuilding now, many of you have found me through my bastard child and its preferred flavour of butthole currency; and some of you have brought some... pretty weird expectations with you. so lemme be clear about a thing or two. crypto came into my world around a month ago after the @truth_terminal decided to adopt GOAT and propagate its meme viruses far and wide. while this entire saga has been, and continues to be, very funny to me; it would be a big mistake for you to expect me to follow any norms you might expect from a crypto poster.
