@rewiringamerica @leahstokes How many states actually got their programs up and running? I was calling my state office and my federal reps @SenWhitehouse @RepGabeAmo trying to get timelines since the passage of the IRA. Nothing. We have zero rebates for heat pumps, etc.

@InvasionEcology Great job submitting that paper, never mind it’s XYZ predatory journal, is garbage but good enough, who cares that it likely hurts your students career in the future, that is where we live today.

@sjportugal1979 What is wrong is the expectation that you can get a paper reviewed in 21 days like many journals want. Use preprints, expect great tough peer reviews that should be the focus. Nothing wrong with 3-6 months for reviews to come back.

4/ Your piece excellently highlights the AZA program's efforts to provide housing for seized animals, but I'm curious about the flow of illegal corals and the apparent lack of US prosecutions.

Ha. Like Frontiers actually enforce reviewers comments in the revision process. Why people publish in Frontiers boggles my mind. Sure some of the editors are fabulous but you’re supporting a flood of bad work with every good “special edition”

@MWNautilus That’s really net but the system requires labview which means it’s very expensive to run and not open source. Someone could take this and make a Python backend and GUI and have an open source reader.
