As in previous years, this will also be the occasion of the epic showdown between the two famous #quantum #hockey teams The Mighty Atomic Strike and The Superconducting Lightning. Check out our Quantum Device Lab (@qudev) paper published five years ago in which we demonstrated the realization of a single-shot, quantum-non-demolition parity detector for #microwave #photons. With this detector we have performed Wigner #tomography of propagating microwave fields. We have also used it to herald propagating Schrödinger cat states when projecting a coherent field into one with a set parity.
