@HadithCritic Very different, as we have the chain of narrators for Hadith. For your question, it just shows it likely wasn’t Jesus’ disciple as they spoke Aramaic, and the fact they are anonymously written are why academics that know much better than us agree it wasn’t Mark the disciple.

(This goes for every gospel, which were written decades after his death, John is just an example)
