The weather has been rough today and this evening but it looks alot better tomorrow (Sunday 5th December) so if anyone wants to join us at Anchorsholme junior parkrun do come along. The free run starts around 9am but arrive for 8.50am, it's open for runners aged 4 to 14

Our first water lilly has flowered in the pond :) If you would like to donate a lilly to the Park, please let us know, our vision is to have lots of water lillys in the Pond, providing colour and life :)

@jorevell1 Hi Jo, that is a great suggestion. We are updating the notice boards at the end of the month so will include the times. In the mean time and may well know them but just in case they are 9am to 3pm 7 days a week. :)

Our wonderful cafe has reopened today for Takeaway only. Come and enjoy the benefits of a hot drink and a lovely walk in our brilliant Park. :) It's a little bit of Vancouver on the Fylde Coast :)

Throughout the summer we have updated our promenade noticeboard with high / low tide times, today we have started work on our other two noticeboards, with news and profile updates on the team behind our Park:

A little socially distanced community work this morning, planting daffodil bulbs in memory of loved ones at the Little Bispham turning circle. Thank you @PaulGalley and his mum for thoughtful and Covid-safe organisation. @Blackpooltrams @WAFCPeter

We are so proud of the Team from Anchorshound Park, they have achieved so much:
After a week(ish) of walks, 31 dogs and 115 laps of @AnchorsholmeOf we’ve completed our @big_dogwalk challenge for the @dogstrust Big thank yous to everyone involved, including our treat sponsors @getyourhoundinn, @luckydogdeli & @pawsandclawsthornton, we've raised £200!

and best of all ready for Bank Holiday weekend our cafe fully opens from tomorrow (Friday 29th August) so you can now have a meal as well as a brew and it's a dog friendly cafe :

Thanks to our hardy volunteers who turned up for our Friday evening Litter picking. Despite the wind we had lots of laughs and a well earned brew afterwards :) Our next litter pick is Monday at 10.30am, if you want to make new friends and have a brew please pop along :)

Huge thank you to our litter picking team tonight who collected six bags of litter from the Park and Prom. If you would like to join our team we meet every Friday at 4pm and Monday at 10 :) A big thank you as well to Beach Patrol who have have designed our new beach poster

We pride ourselves on creating a really dog friendly Park and it's lovely to see baldy enjoying himself. Once the sit down area opens in the Cafe we will have a dog friendly section for brews :)

From today for the rest of the season in partnership with Blackpool Beach Patrol we will be updating the high and low tide times on the Anchorsholme Promenade noticeboard. It is the start of a number of plans to improve adopt the promenade and improve beach safety
