Story of a 66-year-old researcher, an immigrant, who rarely got grants, never got her own lab, never earned more than $60K. For four decades, she kept working on mRNA—a path considered foolish. Her work is the basis for the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines.

If more ppl want to see it, then it's fair. She's not funny to me (Amy), but apparently there's a large number of people that do find her funny, oddly enough
imagine going through 40 years of research and failure only to help develop a vaccine to help save the world...and then some motherfucker on Facebook has the nerve to question you 🤣
Is it true that men do not want to date or marry high earning women? Let’s talk about this because I’m seeing this conversation coming up more often on podcasts.
I wonder if the reason why so many millennials are so miserable on this app is due to the fact that for so many years, they were taught that they were so special by their parents, but now that most have entered the real world they are finding out no one is really that special.
342/350 cases in the Duke outbreak were vaccinated. We absolutely have to shift messaging away from “vaccines mean you won’t get COVID” to “vaccines mean you won’t die alone in an ICU bed.”
-Seattle hit their all time hottest day at 104°
-Portland hit their all time hottest day at 112°
-Roseburg hit their all time hottest day at 113°
-Palm Springs was TWICE as hot as San Francisco with a record high of 121°
Likely hotter in PDX/SEA tomorrow as the heat drags on
The government doesn’t need to insert chips via vaccines to track you lol. Between your SSN, your credit/debit cards and your cell phone, NSA can pretty much map out your entire day if they really wanted to.
Its becoming the case where sheeps who got the jab far too quickly are becoming bullish advocators, despite now realising how ineffectual the vaccine really is
Choice guys out of the window when you’ve got something highly contagious knocking of millions of people. Especially since it has the ability to get worse the longer this goes unchecked. Almost 2 years into this and we don’t get it yet?
“In the coming weeks, major airlines including United, JetBlue and Lufthansa plan to introduce a health passport app, called CommonPass, that aims to verify passengers’ virus test results — and soon, vaccinations.”
🤝
I’ll add this. Living in a major city, once you reach the point we’re you aren’t struggling anymore why add something to your life that’s gonna put you closer to the struggle you just left? No thanks.
If you live in a major city, the only people still doing the traditional markers of adulthood en masse (having kids, buying a house, getting married) are the rich. Normal life functions are now a luxury.
I can’t be worried about other people? public health isn’t a personal issue. you have to look at the entire picture. Just because I’m vaccinated and protected now does not mean it will always remain that way.
Ft. Lauderdale police officer suspended for shoving protester has been reviewed by internal affairs for using force 79 times in his 3+ years on the force, according to department records. via

If you make 100k a year at 30. And retire at 65. You’re looking at slightly north of 3 million earned over a career. You’re going to need that 2 million to stretch for presumably another 50 years. Most people are going back to work lol.
Part of me believes life is unfair and there’s a decent amount of luck involved to get ahead. But some people open their mouths and post stuff and it lets me know exactly why they are where you are life. And why they will likely remain there.
When y'all decide anywhere Black people start going to is played out <<<<<<<<<
Especially when 9 times outta 10 y'all never been yourselves.
The self-hate be seeping out your pores.
Your liver and kidney are very very very good at what they do. no cleans can compete with that. anyone that ever tells me they are doing a cleanse can never specificy what toxins are being removed. Why?
Millennials who are very cavalier about not having children are in for a shock when they enter their 40s & realize life is only half over. What do you do at that point? Keep trying to be sexy & have fun? I expect to see a lot of sadness & confusion about what to do at that point.
Non Black people in general think Black people are incompetent at everything that requires brainpower. Whether it’s being a Lawyer, Doctor, Pilot, Engineer or Quarterback. This DEI shit is just an excuse for them to voice how they really feel
If student debt is canceled people will get married, make babies, purchase homes, take a vacation, quit that sucky job and live in their purpose, eat more veggies, grow a garden, adopt a puppy, give more to charity, be less miserable…and rich people will still get richer.
let’s talk about it. A lot of y’all at work not doing anything particularly labor intensive. you can shit on people to make yourself feel better, but most minimum wage work is far from easy
Do you understand what public bathrooms would look like without janitors? Who is currently fixing your fast food.
And let's be honest here, lots of y'all office jobs don't require that much thinking skills either for you to be acting like this.
The funny part about this stance is that it’s ass backwards. If anything you should be worry about any effects from the actual disease down the line more so than the intervention that protects you from said disease 🤦🏿♂️
Andrew Wiggins: “I felt like the only options were to get vaccinated or not play in the NBA. It was a tough decision. Hopefully in 10 years it works out and I’m still healthy.”
Most folks barely understand stastistics. Or the incidence of blood clots in everyday life. Or even the chances of developing clots if you get COVID (which are exponentially higher than whatever risk you have from the JJ vaccine).
