Blessed Amhara
There is a reason why people continuously try to destroy, contaminate and claim our lineage, history and bloodline.
We have come a long way but the battle is not over yet, Amhara will prevail.
Stay pure 💚💛❤️

🧵 Proving Welkait-Tsegede is Amhara
Extremely detailed post using historical figures, confessions from Tigray leaders, maps and primary sources.
I will continue to add onto this when I find more sources.
Amharas have been very patient and kind with agames since the 1940s till now(2024) have come to us nonstop bc of famines from their worthless region.
They continue to move in large amounts to our lands to claim it like Welkait. We have to kick these agames back to their desert
This photo of an Amhara priest standing beside his underage wife is going viral.
The Amhara region records the highest rates of child marriage in Ethiopia, with about 45% of girls marrying before turning 18.
@weyaneee
Ur coping lmao first u guys said no proof, then u said no bodies I’m sure the more agames start loosing in Sudan the bodies will start dropping

Maybe it’s the countless eripoorian women who are in our region as sex slaves and refugees after being sold to us by the Eritrean government 😂😂😂😂
To begin let’s examine famous rulers/ress of Amhara descent who ruled Welkait.
The first notable leader was Gebre Tasfa, who hailed from Amhara descent and was governor of this region from 1771-1815
Another important but unfortunately unknown Amhara that hails from Welkait-Tsegede is Tewelde Medhin of Welkait.
He coauthored the first Amharic-French dictionary with Antoine d'Abbadi. He later traveled to Jerusalem, where he wrote a scholarly commentary on the Fetha Negest.
Another notable ruler was Haile Maryam Gebre who was an Amhara that governed this region during the Zemane Mesafint.
Not only did he control Welkait-Tsegede but he faced also invaded and did raids into Tigray by CROSSING the Tekeze river.
In 1850, Abyssinia is divided into three independent states: Tigre, Amhara, and Shoa (including Efat). Welkait's status isn't explicitly mentioned, but Tigre and Amhara, were separated by the Tacazze River and Samen mountains, so no Welkait for them.
The Amhara legend, Tewdros II would be the unifier of Amhara/Abyssinia ending the Zemene Mesafint.
This would include the Gondar/Begmender province including Welkait-Tsegede.
Following these raids would lead to the legendary rule of Wube Haile Mariam who would have an even more iconic rule over this region as not only was he a governor of Welkait but conquering the whole of Tigray for several decades
These heroes of Amhara descent is just one puzzle of the pie that not only proves Amharas ruled this region but debunks the talking point claiming Haile Selassie gave us the land.
Now that it has been established that Amharas ruled this region let’s look at maps.
@Miyona847310505
There are so many churches and architecture in Tembein that is built by Amharas specifically the emperors of Zara yacob, amde Tsion and fasildes
Walter C. Plowden's work, "Abyssinia & the Galla Country," published in 1848, provides insights into the historical and geographical aspects of Abyssinia. The source highlights the distinction between Tigray and Welkait through political and cultural narratives.
The 1683 map of Ethiopia by Hiob Ludolf distinctly reveals that Welkait, denoted as "Walkayit," and the entire region west of the Tekeze River were not part of Tigray. Present-day WesternTigray was situated within the province of
Begemidir (Gondar) at that time.
Other accomplishments of his include traveled to Jerusalem, where he wrote a scholarly commentary on the Fetha Negest.
This portrait was made by Jean-Adrien Guignet and can now be found at Château d'Abbadie (Abbadia castle),Hendaye,France.

An Eritrean talking about being a cuck is hilarious lmao considering there are documentaries showing how easy it was for Italian men to get Eritrean women
After using Eritrean 🐱the only people to marry Eritrean women are their cuckold men 😂😂😂
The passage specifies Amhara's natural borders with the Blue Nile to the west and the Tecazze River to the east, indicating a clear geographical separation from Tigray. The delineation emphasizes distinct territories and supports the idea of a well-defined division between them
In 1620 A.D., Spanish missionary Pedro Páez noted that Welkait, including districts like Abergele, Tselemt/i, Bora, Salowa, were distinct from Tigray. Affirming that Welkait has never been part of Tigray.
Another first hand account by Charles T. Beke explains how Tigray is separated from Amhara by the river Tákkazye, forming a natural barrier. This river encircles Tigray and hinders direct communication with Amhara or other parts of the interior.
In a 1600s map by Vincenzo Coronelli, relying on Portuguese Jesuits' records in Ethiopia, it's evident that Welkait, Bora, etc., are not affiliated with Tigray, emphasizing the historical disconnect between the regions.
The book “The Travels of the Jesuits in Ethiopia.” not only explains Ethiopian society at the time but explains that Tigray never crossed the Tekeze river
Elizabel Filleul's 1634 account offers historical and geographical insights into 17th-century Tigray, Ethiopia. The Kingdom of Tigre, extending from Amacens' to Endereta, excludes the region west of the Tacassé River, emphasizing a boundary between Tigrayens and Welkait.
This map from 1634 shows the different provinces and locations in Tigray notice the Tekaze river and samen mountains to the left and the fact that in a map that lists all the regions of Tigray Welkait is not there.
This document beautifully lays out the natural boundaries of Tigre showing that they were already naturally resting south of the Mereb and west of the Tekaze. While Welkait isn't explicitly mentioned, the Tacazz River's role as a boundary further implies their distinct divisions.
Rigobert Bonne's 1771 map of Nubia and Abyssinia provides a geographical representation of the Nubian and Abyssinian regions during the 18th century. If you zoom in or search it up you will see that it is separated from the Tekaze river
This source that documents Ethiopian Jews in Gondar and Welkait explains that the Taccazy River forms a boundary between Tigray and Amhara, akin to "cities of refuge." Crossing with hostile intent means inevitable death, highlighting the gravity for an attainted exile.
After Zeguean dynasty's fall, Amháric became Abyssinia's court language, replacing Geez. Spoken in Shoa and provinces between Taccázé and Blue Nile, the Taccaze River was a historical separator between Amharas and Tigrayens, adding geopolitical context to linguistic changes.
Hormuzd Rassam's Memoire states that in Abyssinia, "Amhâra" ethnologically refers to those west of the Takkaza River, extending south to Góijam. This source clearly states Amharas live west of Takeze including Welkait
Historically, Amharas inhabited Tacazzé to Bechelo, distinct from Galla areas, but not explicitly mentioning Welkait. Despite demographic changes, "Amhara" still denotes Abyssinia's majority, suggesting a geographical separation from Tigray, potentially including Welkait.

Mansfield Parkyns was a British explorer, artist, and author known for his travel writings. "Life in Abyssinia" is one of his notable works, providing an account of his experiences and observations during his travels in Abyssinia (present-day Ethiopia) in mid 19th century
These letters prove that when Yohaness was crowned king he was crowned across the Tekeze and when he writes to Queen Victoria he recognizes the difference between Tigray and
Welkait, acknowledging he does not control it and sees Welkait differently from his kingdom

This letter from a priest, Abba Yosef to Antoine d'Abbadie suggests a geographical division between Tigray and Amhara, with the Tekezze River as a delineating feature. In Tigray, Emperor Yohaness is inaugurated, while across the river is Ras Werengna

Ras Weregna's domain includes Mai, Quara, Checheho, Yeju, Lasta, and potentially Welkait. This reinforces the idea of the Tekezze River serving as a significant boundary between these regions.
Before the 1st Woyane rebellion these were the regions in Ethiopia.
