Chelsea was debt-free and in the Champions League when ownership changed in 2022. Eghbali and the Sporting Directors have spent £1 billion, risked breaching PSR/FFP, and the team still has holes and is no stronger than before. I am an optimistic guy, but this is hard to defend.
