The search to recognise the UK’s most professional sprayer operators in the sports turf, amenity and landscape management industries for 2024 is edging closer to a result. The shortlist of finalists was announced at the Amenity Forum Conference last week. The Amenity Sprayer Operator of the Year (ASOOTY) Awards highlight best practice and experience in the challenging role of ensuring accurate application on all amenity surfaces. The Amenity Forum competition, supported by ICL and Syngenta, seek to share top tips and advice that will raise the standards of spray application across the amenity industry. Congratulations to all the finalists, the overall winner will be announced at the prestigious BIGGA Awards ceremony at BTME in January 2025. #bestpractice #raisingourvoice

Are you going to @GroundsFest ? Our chairman, Ian Graham, will be delivering a presentation on ‘OCR Regulations – All you need to know’. 🗓 Dates: 10th & 11th September ⏰ Time: 11:00 AM 📍 Location: Theatre 1 If your business uses plant protection products in a professional capacity in the UK, you are legally required to appear on a central register. This applies to all organisations whatever your size or business structure. The requirement is governed by the Official Controls (Plant Protection Products) Regulations 2020 (OCR) and failure to register is breaking the law. Ian will be discussing the key factors of the regulation and provide clarity and support when facing a compliance inspection.
