The ICA-G is holding a big conference in Koforidua at the moment. Because of this conference, I've had a hard time finding accommodation. Started searching weeks ago. Was even willing to stomach the GHS 800 a night at one of the ‘big’ places here but they said they were booked 1/
If you're ever in Koforidua & need to sleep somewhere, do not stay at the Baca Hotel.
If you know who owns the place tell them George Boateng who is supposedly a manager is ruining it for them.
I'm going to try & calm down & share why later but yeah don't stay there.

yesterday, i sent almost GHS 2000 to someone. MTN took GHS 7+ as fee. The wicked Government of 🇬🇭claimed GHS 17+ as e-levy.
I basically spent GHS 23+ trying to move money.
The GOG takes & takes & takes & we never see what use all the money is put to.

lawyers + friends & family kept coming by to check on us + brought snacks and meals and water.

Let us also remember that the year Eric Ofotsu was killed for being outside during llockdown, Carlos Ahenkorah was out and about while COVID positive. He did not lose his life. He was not penalised in any way for that action.

One of them, I believe, is Frank AK Tagbor! Started photographing Keta & its people in the 1950s and retired in 2011. Trained nearly 20 people during active service.
So glad i got to see an exhibition his family put together in his honour before he passed later on in 2022.
