If you’re in contract manufacturing, your biggest moat is just responding to emails promptly lol. I get emails from 5,000 unit-run brands that switch to us immediately because of this. I give them my cell. My house key. And my gym schedule. I kid. But yeah, keep the trust of your clients the same way you would as a dtc brand.

I added new lines at my beauty contract manufacturing company. We need to fill them asap. Equipment should be operational 70% of the time. Strategy included: 1. Asking existing clients if we can develop new SKUs for them. 2. Running meta lead ads. 10 lower quality leads in 24 hours. For $6.20/lead with a potential of $5,000 minimum in revenue? Can’t beat that!

Lol my company @OxfordHillCo was onboarded. They immediately approved us with little due diligence. Only AFTER did their VP of Sales email us asking for free units of our products shipped to a sus UPS store so he can “see the packaging and gauge the shipping time”. We haven’t sold a single unit of product even though they have 100k IG “followers”. The same exact thing happened to all my other DTC friends that were on the platform. Their VP probably has thousands of free goodies in his home from this 🤣

I’m all for the gamification of war that leaves human lives out of the way. Nations deciding the end of a conflict based on the k/d ratio of robots on a field would be a phenomenal alternative to the current thing - but it seems unlikely that it’ll stop just there. Interesting that we’re gonna get Call of Duty IRL before we get GTA6.
