It's roughly:
1) Get all your players to the Elo threshold (eg 3,000 for Advanced)
2) Send in a ticket with your roster
3) Play the qualifier on the day and the best teams qualify for the higher division

Hey, we are currently talking with the players who highlighted concerns about moving to FACEIT's servers. We want to get eg traceroutes to work with the ISPs and server hosts while we also investigate moving over ESEA's servers to FACEIT.

We do not know when CS2 will drop and how it will arrive.
As a result, it is safer for us to plan around rebuilding League components using FACEIT which already has a CS2 integration working. The ESEA League infrastructure was built over the last 15 years was not created with a

It's about the same price now:
- 3 months of Premium $6.95 * 3 + $9.95 (for Open) = $30.85
- 3 months of League Pass on FACEIT = $30
However, we're also running a sale for this season to celebrate the move so it's roughly $21 for this season.

Hi, I think that if you opened multiple ticket it automatically closes the previous one. If you open another now it should not close as we have disabled that for ESEA tickets now

I am sorry that there were definitely pain points as we transitioned for our first season on FACEIT. We are continuing to work on improvements and will iterate, season after season to bring the ESEA League back to feature parity and beyond to make it better than before.

We have successfully moved over ESEA's servers in Chicago, Denver, and Dallas to FACEIT's fleet. These servers will be available for teams to select in Season 46, in August. 🎉

Teams who already have spots in eg Main should not participate in eg the Main/Intermediate qualifiers.
We're open to adjusting the thresholds as we iterate and improve. However, keep in mind the teams still have to beat out the opposition in that cup even if they have enough Elo

It's team based although teams need to use a set number of players from Season 1 in Season 2 to retain their roster. The full rulebook should be out soon!

It depends on your performance. The best teams are promoted to Master, teams that performed well in Season 1 stay, teams with a weaker performance move down.

I would keep in mind that before you needed to pay for both ESEA Premium (US$6.95 x 2 months for regular season and 1 month for the playoffs) and League Fees eg for Open (US$9.95)
Now, you just need to pay the 30 CAD for the full season.

Ultimately, we don't know the timeline for CS2. As we mention in our blog, we have set out a preliminary schedule for the season and are open to adjusting as more information is revealed.

To try and make the process simpler we removed both Premium & League Fees for ESEA when moving to FACEIT.
Now players just need to pay for ESEA League Pass on FACEIT to access the League and all of our events.
