Standing heartbroken tonight with Roswell Police Department in the loss of one of their officers, who was shot and killed while responding to reports of a suspicious person. The suspect was immediately located and taken into custody.

#TrafficTuesday: TEU PATROLS Recently, TEU has been working areas that have received multiple traffic complaints, like Rucker Road & Mid Broadwell (enforcing commercial vehicle restrictions) and the Lake Windward Corridor (speeding & stop signs).

Today is the 4th stop in barely over a week for a vehicle going over 100mph on GA400. Thankfully, we can say that the 28 y/o driver was arrested, charged w/speeding & reckless driving, and there were no injuries or crashes. But that's not the case every time. Don't Speed.

ROAD CLOSURE ALERT: Units from Alpharetta Public Safety are working a gas main rupture in the area and Atlanta Gas Light has been notified. There is no danger to the public. Drivers, please stay clear of the area, as crews are expected to be on scene for multiple hours.

Less than 24 hrs after Tuesday's 112mph stop, officers stopped this vehicle on GA400 northbound. The 30-year-old motorist was taken into custody; charged with speeding & reckless driving. Drive safely so your family doesn't have to get a serious injury crash notice (or worse).
