Great teamwork meant that when concurrent jobs in North Devon, St. Austell and Plymouth came in we were able to support all of them. Serious miles covered by some overnight. One crew late off with a drink driver as well 30 miles from their home station.

Suspect arrested after running from a serious assault proceeds to tell the ARV officers how old and out of shape they are. “We aren’t the one in cuffs!!” Irony not lost

So when the ARV turns up to a drunk male who won’t move on at closing time and tells him to leave they didn’t mean go to your car then fail to stop for them. After a short pursuit one in custody 🤦♂️

It seems a long time ago when we started our shifts this week in Plymouth with the power tool incident but the week ended with another authorised job in Torquay with a concern for a male with a nail gun.

Busy weekend for the team. Both of these incidents in Plymouth show the variety within the role between the medical support we look to offer and the firearms capabilities for the incident in Ham.
