For Spidey here, they could have raised the exposure more (in post) or they could have added a harsher “moon light” on set (green) but they didn’t. Why? Because they didn’t want to! And that’s okay! Because this is art and the artists get to decide.

@camdeion @hallearielswift @willnights1 it’s called “sampling” and they literally get songwriting credits which means they get a portion of the money that the song makes. this is literally an industry standard practice.

@hallearielswift @willnights1 that’s a massive twisting of what he said. i didn’t agree with some of his takes, but he was actually talking about how collaboration is a cornerstone of the music industry and that it’s important to bring new people into your writing process who will see things you don’t
