Today is world autism day when we the autism community go out to spread the awareness message and advocate for the rights of persons on the autism spectrum. I am a parent of a 16year old boy on the ASD and the chair of Differently Talented Society of Kenya.

The National Assembly has passed the Persons with Disabilities Bill (Senate Bill No. 7 of 2023) The Bill seeks to give effect to Article 54 of the Constitution; to restructure the National Council for Persons with Disabilities and to provide for its functions and powers; to provide for the institutional framework for protecting, promoting and monitoring the rights of persons with disabilities; to provide for incentives and reliefs. #BungeLiveNA.
