I immediately had this same thought... port the upgrades back... You could also potentially use the Sega CD's slave CPU or ASIC to do interesting effects, but really this isn't the most ideal game to utilize the SCD (outside of improved audio). Maybe a rotated and scaled plane for the foreground?

@thelucentcomic @FillPops YBZ was one of the first I heard bring this up and some lampooned him for it... Comics politics get involved and suddenly EVERYTHING a guy says is wrong because you're on the other side of an invisible fence. Counter-argument... Do as I command! Believe as I say!
