That was an incredible scene. Sypha was a beast throughout the season. Her character grew tremendously in strength and in understanding of the world around her. And episode 9 was epic 🤯

The second I got loud with my mom in HER house I would’ve lost all connection to this world. She would’ve killed me about five seconds into that video. There would’ve been no rebuttal, no slick talk just pain and me dreading the moment my dad got home to finish the job. NOPE!

It’s well worth it to me. I work Monday thru Thursday. I like having three day weekends with optional overtime. It saves a lot of PTO because I can schedule trips on my days off. Sometimes I take Thursday and Monday off to extend the time. It’s just nice to have adequate off days

It’s a valid point. I couldn’t stand him for years until Power Book II . I see things a bit more clearer from his perspective and he’s become a lot more educated about business and street life. Get him some boxing lessons and a car and he’ll do even better lol. Great show!

I just submitted my piece to the St. Augustine Art Association’s Spring Show. The show will be online April 3rd-30th. Many of you have already seen it. But this will be the first time entering it in a show. I named it Red Descent. Wish me luck!

I loved this show! When I was a kid I hated going to the doctor for shots. I had the brilliant idea of turning to the Hulk to scare him. I went through all the motions, flexing and pulling on my shirt. I still got the shots. And to this day he calls me the Hulk. I’m 42 lol!

I think out of all of them, Lauren is the most trustworthy. She just has no knowledge of street life and is easily manipulated. So she doesn’t know how to navigate certain situations. But she only wants what’s best for Tariq.

I was told that constantly as a kid and I still hear it sometimes as an adult. So many kids end up not embracing their interests and talents because of being foolishly taught that those interests and talents aren’t appropriate for their skin color. It’s sad and wasteful.

So many innocent people are harmed by scams like this. A fellow coworker’s grandfather lost thousands of dollars to a scam. He’s on a very fixed income and it really took a toll on his limited finances and health.
