Sharing our computational immuno ecosystem - started for internal use but might help others too! CRAN package >100 functions (both custom&external tools eg cellphoneDB,projecTILs,alphafold) Database to download&integrate scSeq/VDJ directly into R + ~20 tutorials w/ code, data, text

Happy to sharing a nice collab now out in @CellReports lead by @FGrabnitz & @LabOxenius investigating how asymmetric cell division influences T cell development!
Thrilled to share our newest publication by @FGrabnitz and colleagues in @CellReports showing that asymmetric cell division safeguards memory CD8 T cell development upon strong TCR stimulation. 🥳🔬 Congrats Fabienne!

Sharing our new pub in @iScience_CP relating Bcell repertoires & mAb specificity! Previously we saw ~35% of expanded IgG plasma cells were immunogen-specific. Here we show a similar % using a therapeutic protein (w/ self-homology) in young but not old mice

We are already sending out interview invites in the next few days for the two computational immunology #PhD positions at @CTI_UMCUtrecht in case you haven't submitted an application yet but wanted to 🧬🍾
We are hiring two computational immunology PhD students at @UMCU_Intl in the Netherlands working on adaptive immunity in my group and in the group of @FemkevanWijk1. Please spread the word and DM me for more info!🧬

Happy to support monotreme awareness with our single-cell immune repertoire simulation tool Echidna now @BioinfoAdv. Integrated SC repertoires & transcriptomes. One fun case was simulating clonality & B cell evolution on spatial images for pipeline development for future projects

Riding the good news wave - honored to share I've been awarded an SNSF #Ambizione Grant to study the interplay between vaccination and original antigenic sin. Please DM if you know anyone interested in an experimental or computational immunology PhD in a fun Dutch Swiss collab!

Grateful to share I’ll join @CTI_UMCUtrecht NL as a TT Assistant Prof. So much love to all who have helped me follow my curiosity both professionally🧬and personally🏳️🌈 Excited to keep exploring how computational, synthetic and systems immunology can be translated to the clinic

Happy to share our recent manuscript from @ReddyLab_ETHZ has been published in Cell! Great work by @JosephMTaft & @cedricrweber et al. Moving towards predicting immune escape of future viral variants🤓

Sharing super special collab work 🙏profiling B cells in the CNS w/ infection and autoimmunity. Murine ASCs were expanded & class-switched following ic viral infection and proliferated/expanded after local induction of neo-self antigen 🧠 Similar phenotypes in CSF of MS patients
Persistent virus-specific and clonally expanded antibody secreting cells respond to induced self antigen in the CNS #biorxiv_immuno
