In the summer, The club will leak that they need 1 IN and 1 OUT. They will claim they need sales in order to sign a top player. Fast-forward to August and they will end without their top choice (Isak). You don’t even have to be so wise to see it.

@Scowie19 And the planning of the squad… we’ve had 2 project 10’s to develop (Fabio and Odegaard) despite their being many established 10’s on the market (paqueta for example at Lyon). Just such horrible distribution of funds that has been covered up by Arteta

@Scowie19 You need someone who has balls and is willing to stand up to garlick and Lewis, and someone who has proven with experience that they can identify players and build a team. Garlick and Lewis only wanted to pay up to 80 for rice and Arteta forced them to make it happen.

Arteta’s tactics are fine intensity wise. It’s on the board.
Our starting attackers tearing their hamstrings is a direct consequence of Arteta’s persistence of having them press/track back every single game and the board not signing anyone to offset their load. Mentally checked out of this season. No interest whatsoever.

When you put up 35 goals and assists from midfield I don’t think that really matters, but it’s nonsense anyway 😂.
The difference between Pedri and Bellingham is Pedri can have a 9/10 match without needing a goal or assist. Bellingham cannot. You want control, domination — you go Pedri. You want chaos, disorder — you go Bellingham.

Mbeumo (as an example) in the summer might go for 50 million, if you bought him in January Brentford may have demanded a premium of 70 million. 20 million which massively increases your chances of winning the ucl/pl is worth spending. Awful work from the board.

Ange is a politician who works the crowd. Football, however, at the highest level rewards winners. Even idealists have to win to get their ideas respected or they are soon and quickly forgotten (Pep, Cruyff, Wenger etc) You can't gimmick your way through. We will see in time.
