أكدنا خلال استقبالنا لوفد روسي كبير برئاسة السيد ميخائيل بوغدانوف المبعوث الخاص للرئيس الروسي في الشرق الأوسط ودول أفريقيا، أهمية عقد إجتماع طارئ لقادة البلد، والإلتزام الكامل بتنفيذ ورقة الإتفاق السياسي والمنهاج الوزاري، المتضمن قانون العفو العام، وإعادة النازحين إلى مناطقهم، وحل المساءلة والعدالة، فضلاً عن تشريع قانون المحكمة الاتحادية العليا، والمُضي بحوار وطني شامل.

Political disputes, failure to honor agreements between party leaders, and attempts to drag the Federal Court into obstructing parliamentary decisions will push Iraq into new crises at a critical time for the region. We stress the need to prevent the General Amnesty Law from being used for political score-settling and call for an urgent meeting of the country’s leaders to correct the course by implementing the political agreement—an agreement that has been hidden from the public, who remain unaware of its details and signatories!

When the Iranian president says that “savage Israel resembles the Arabs before Islam,” he forgets that these very Arabs were chosen by God to carry His message and spread it across the world, including Persia. If there had been a better nation at the time of the Prophet’s mission, prophethood would have been among them. But it was the Arabs’ values—chivalry, honor, and courage—that always set them apart. We hope the Iranian president will be more careful with his comparisons in the future, so as not to evoke a complicated history between the neighboring Arab and Persian civilizations.

on Iraqi Judiciary Day: We reaffirm our call for an independent and impartial judiciary, free from any political influence or pressure. We emphasize the importance of supporting the judicial institution to ensure justice, equality, and fairness for the oppressed, while protecting rights and freedoms under the umbrella of justice that shields citizens from injustice and persecution.
