@sean_robbins @PrivateEyeNews Thanks that is helpful. So they are paid by the defence rather than being independent?

@godblesstoto 84 sharia courts in the UK where women's evidence carries half the weight of men's. The Batley teacher still in hiding. C. 400,000 people killed by Islamists globally since 2004. But let's talk about "Islamophobia". (There is nothing irrational about fearing Islam.)

@GSpellchecker It is very simple. If your religion says that you shouldn't burn the Koran or draw pictures of the prophet then don't do it. But do not force your religious beliefs on everyone else. Being silly and rude should not be a police matter.

@BBCNews Tattoos are going out of fashion too I see and natural looking skin is coming back. Youngsters don't want to look like their Dad or their Aunty Jean. Who can blame them?

@DreyfusJames I'm so relieved that footballers and politicians have stopped 'taking the knee' as it must mean that racism has stopped. What? It was just a performative craze to make people feel gorgeous about themselves? Well I never!

@FCDOGovUK @DavidLammy Yes, Jews are there, then there are the laughably naive 'queers for Palestine' too. But when you actually speak to pro-Palestinian folk (as I have), many of them hold very primitive anti-semitic views. Not anti-israel but hatred for all Jews.

@democracynow I'm not a Trump fan, but this is a very poor effort at analysis and a willful misunderstanding of the benefits of meritocracy.

@spikedonline Perhaps we should stop using the term grooming gang since it does not really convey the sadistic attacks. Perhaps we could also ask uk Muslims whether they are comfortable with the Hadith saying in two places that their prophet raped a 9 year old girl?

@GSpellchecker Why do so many on the left turn a blind eye to all the terrible stuff happening in the world (China comes to mind) but come out in force when Jews are involved so that they can feel gorgeous about their antisemitism?

@fivanmierlo @JamesMacCleary Yes, we should always make policy based on personal anecdotes. What could possibly go wrong? Why bother with fully costed thoughtful analysis of policy decisions when you can just get a nice warm feeling?
