Reason #6 why you should get immunized against COVID-19: 6⃣ The vaccine provides a strong, robust immune response that's much safer & more protective than acquiring immunity through natural infection. Even if you've had COVID-19, you should still get vaccinated.

Wondering what "flatten the curve" means? Strategies like staying home, washing hands & not touching your face slow the spread of disease. This allows the health care system to respond to cases over a longer period of time rather than overwhelming the system all at once.

With cases climbing across Alaska, it's time to shrink our social bubbles and keep them as small as possible. This won’t last forever but our collective actions will help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Keep washing your hands often, wearing a mask and staying six feet from others. What you do makes a difference. Vaccines are coming soon. This will get better, but for now, let's all keep doing our part to keep our loved ones and all Alaskans safe!

FISH ON, SAFELY: No matter what kind of fishing you do, let’s fish safely this summer. Commercial fishermen must have protective plans in place. Sport, personal use & subsistence fishing remain open, but anglers need to follow state health mandates.
