BREAKING: Donald Trump's presidential "honeymoon" screeches to a halt as a Democratic Congressman announces plans to impeach him over his illegal plans to conquer Gaza. This is nightmare news for MAGA... "The movement to impeach the president has begun," said Representative Al Green on the House floor. "I rise to announce that I will bring articles of impeachment against the president for dastardly deeds proposed and dastardly deeds done." “Injustice in Gaza is a threat to justice in the United States of America,” he stated. "I know that it’s time for us to lay the foundation [for impeachment] again. On some issues, it is better to stand alone than not stand at all," said Green. "On this issue, I stand alone, but I stand for justice." "The people have to demand it, and when the people demand it, it will be done," he added. Of course, the impeachment is unlikely to succeed so long as MAGA Republicans control the House and Senate but this is a crucial step nonetheless. We cannot allow Trump's fascism to go unchallenged. His announcement that the United States is going to "take over" Gaza and "own" it is blatantly illegal and in direct opposition to America's best interests. "Ethnic cleansing is not a joke, especially when it emanates from the president of the United States, the most powerful person in the world, when he has the ability to perfect what he says, ethnic cleansing in Gaza is no joke, and the prime minister of Israel should be ashamed knowing the history of his people," said Green. The idea is even proving unpopular with his MAGA base, who see the imperialist scheme as betrayal of their "America First" mantra. Trump's presidency is already teetering. Yes, this is a Democrat bragging that Joe Biden deported more people on a weekly basis than Donald Trump. Posts like this are important to remind everyone that Democrats are the not the left. They stand for the same racist policies as Republicans.
In the first week, Trump removed 7,300 people. On average, Biden was removing 15,000 a week. Under Biden 72% of ICE arrests were criminals. Under Trump it's dropped to around 50%. Trump is removing less people and less criminals. These guys are terrible at everything.

A reminder that @nasw will do nothing to help you or your loved ones in times like this. They may put out a weak statement that doesn’t say anything that might offend their donors, but other than that, you should expect nothing. If you’re sending them your money, it can be much better used going to mutual aid.
