We’re all feeling the effects of the fires. Tonight, APD’s homeless liaison officer Horvath handed out over 60 filtered breathing masks to the homeless population in Alameda.

Officers from Alameda County's High Intensity Traffic Team (HITT) rolled into town this morning to conduct directed traffic enforcement throughout Alameda’s 700+ streets. The result: 12 officers, 102 citations.
APD IN ACTION: Arrest of an individual with two warrants leads to an additional arrest of a probation violator in possession of two assault rifles, rifle parts and over 2,400 round of various ammunition.
