You don’t need to travel far to find adventure – it’s right here, in your own community. In my latest talk, I challenge you to embrace local wildness and take ownership of the environmental problems we face:

We’re excited to be running our Wild Writing Weekend in the Black Mountains again. It brings together writers to share their stories, walk in the mountains, sit around the campfire, jump in the river, eat fabulous food – and of course write, write, write.

A good reason to travel (and why I'd love all world leaders to first have to cycle across a continent or two) // A good reason to explore locally and pay attention to nearby nature, wildness and land use: - That we do not know, we cannot understand, therefore we do not value.

@wellbeingpixels That's a lot! Luckily it will peak, plateau, then decline slightly by the end of the century (, unlike most of our other voracious behaviours which show little sign of improvement!
