The Manning brothers, who are everywhere these days hawking in the national spotlight, will probably make more $$$$ doing commercials and endorsements than during their NFL careers.
Eli Manning already knows whether he will or won’t be a part of the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2025. But his big brother Peyton doesn’t. Everyone else will find out Thursday night. 🎧

New Orleans was different city at Bears-Patriots Super Bowl XX. No blockades throughout French Quarter, no heavy security checking IDs, guarding rooftops, as McMahon, Payton, Hampton, McMichael among Bears touring nightspots, mobbed by fans. Miss those days.

According to NTSB, (1) improper weight distribution of luggage and (2) co-pilot’s failure to remove external safety locks during takeoff led to Dec. 13, 1977 crash taking lives of 29 people, including Evansville men’s basketball team.
@AlHamnik I remember it all too well. Pilot error, groundcrew error, and an old plane (a DC-3 from 1941).

Horrific American Airlines crash brings back memories of Dec. 13, 1977 when plane carrying Evansville men’s basketball team crashed during takeoff, killing all 29 passengers including promising 6-9 freshman Ray Commadella of Munster. Human error blamed.

I’ve just got to say this after Wednesday’s air tragedy: His blame-game press conference included going after the helicopter pilot, Biden, Obama, FAA hiring practices on diversity with air controllers, and bragging about past accomplishments in office. How shameful.
