@Sq_arez You can deficit spend without taking out private debt, the central bank can simply print money and different tax instruments can prevent inflation from that. But even if you're paying interest if deficits are invested wisely the pay-off can just cover the interest payments.

@miltonfann I live in the United Kingdom where 300000 people were killed by the post 2008 austerity programme, including both of my maternal grandparents. This is accepted fact substantiated by countless studies and reports. I have watched towns die and crumble in my short 2 decades of life.
