It’s hard to tell but looking closer now it may have been MLAT with very good coverage. Either way, I’ve seen RC support tankers during Caribbean missions get reprimanded quickly for not adhering to SPINS by severing Mode-S. Hard to imagine the same would not apply the ENTIRE flight here.

@AirPowerNEW1 @Aviation_Intel “We’re”. You’re literally a blogger and random folk on Twitter… some sensitive feelings you got there!

One of the most annoying responses by people when another country rolls out an advanced weapon system is that "who cares, we (the U.S.) have a better one a generation ahead." This may be true, but it does not somehow negate the threat presented by the new system or the critical leaps in many sciences it took to get there, just because the U.S. has something superior in a similar class. This is a weird disconnect that simplifies often very complex issues with shallow dismissals. Even worse when they say we have everything under the sun in the classified/test realm. Great we can have all that, but it doesn't matter much unless its operational iron on the ramp and in combat mass, outside of some silver bullet application.

@AirPowerNEW1 All of this 6th Gen stuff on our end is still all a smoke screen. We don’t actually know what’s true and has or hasn’t flown. Yet alone what anything looks like. @Aviation_Intel hits its spot on here:
