πΆFriday marked the launch of our lunchtime recitals for 2025 at Royal Derby Hospital and Queenβs Hospital Burton! π Staff & visitors were treated to performances by Derventio String Quartet in Derby and Samantha Oxborough & Melissa Morris voice and piano duo in Burton.πΉ

Today we share this moving piece by Joy Pitts. The names of 520 servicemen & women have been hand sewn & assembled on canvas depicting a pair of military boots. The nametapes were stitched by the soldierβs families, & by soldiers who are still serving.

We held our collage and conversation session last night to mark Black History Month. Artist, Tomekah George, led such an interesting session which saw everyone make a personal collages based on a number of interesting stories. #blackhistorymonth
