We understand. Over 10% of Irish people living in Ireland aren't white, but they're still Irish. So fuck off with the racism.
@User2319_2319
@defnoodles
Oh come on, like it was an equal power dynamic. Instead of calling out the wealthy and famous adult men (not *boys*), you decide to attack the young women they exploited? What an absolutely embarrassing and clueless tweet.
Isn't it interesting how the racists are usually pro-life, anti-choice loons? Life in the womb is precious, but they don't give a shite once you're born.

I had to intervene when two white guys on public transport started telling a teenager in great detail what they wanted to do with her sexually. All the other white guys sitting around them said nothing. Do better white guys.
Banned by the Bunratty Castle twitter account for asking them about the Irish Wolfhounds that died under their care and the welfare of the new ones they've replaced them with. The behaviour of guilty people.

What do words used in Ireland have to do with black Americans? The problem with Americans of all colours is that you have main character syndrome. We're not going to change words that we've been using for hundreds of years because you've had a tantrum. You're not special, sorry!

20 years old and a cold fish of a husband who didn't love her. Maybe if Diana had someone like Harry she would be alive today. The best thing that ever happened to Harry was meeting Meghan, she freed him from that toxic family.

Unless Kate gave her consent, it's adultery and he's the future head of the Church of England, certain standards are expected. Or at least they were before Chaz and his side piece took over.
Week 31 of my

Cromwell didn't "give" the Book of Kells to Trinity College. It was hidden away before he reached Kells Abbey (which he turned into stables) and only "reappeared" a decade or so later. Spreading lies and misinformation makes you just as bad as the far right crowd.
@WonderKing82
Clinton would have been a great president and tens of thousands of people wouldn't have died needlessly under her watch. F*ck those who called her the lesser of two evils, there is blood on their hands.
Week 3 of my year of medieval pictures features St Mary's Church, Crumlin. The church was rebuilt in the 18th century but the tower is medieval. Crumlin was a part of the English king's royal demesne during the medieval period and beyond.

The Banshee (bean-sidhe/woman of the fairy) forewarned members of certain Irish families of their time of death. Her keening could be heard just before the death of those she followed, she also washed the blood-stained clothes of those about to die.

Fertagh round tower, co. Kilkenny (not my photo) is 31 metres tall, if it still had its conical cap it would be the tallest round tower in Ireland. In 1156 the high king Muirchertach Mac Lochlainn burned the tower with the lector (reader) inside.

Insulie de Tuskerrs, now Tuskar Rock (Wexford), appears in a 14th-century memoranda roll entry. The name is evidence of Viking presence in the area, tu means large and skar means rock in Old Norse. So the modern name literally means Large Rock Rock.
